On June 13, 2014 the New England Center for Expository Preaching Board of Directors
unanimously approved an ammendment to the NECEP Constitution that stated
NECEP's position with regards the issue of Human Sexuality
 

In brief:  The New England Center for Expository Preaching (NECEP) is a Christian ministry devoted to “expository preaching”; the proclamation the Bible, as it was commonly understood when the passages were written. NECEP believes that the Bible is the Word of God.  It is the single standard from which all doctrinal matter originates.  NECEP therefore does not embrace any opinion as equal to that which God has proclaimed.  For that reason NECEP internships are limited to male seminary students who are seeking to become Bible expository preaching pastors.
 
The New England Center Board of Directors holds that God created humankind “male and female;” therefore, the only Biblically sound, God honoring, human sexual orientation is exclusively heterosexual. Rejecting as unscriptural and against nature (Gen. 1:26-28, 2:18-24; Mt. 19:4-5; Eph. 5:22-33) the misguided beliefs and practices of those who have exchanged the body’s natural function for that which is unnatural “leading to degrading passions” (Rom. 1:26-27) NECEP holds that homosexual passions and transgender preferences are “indecent acts” are not in accord with any Christian ministry to include the New England Center....
